I read this to my boy. It was a cute book. But the reality of the kids being able to stay away as long as they did to me didn't make it that believeable.
I've read this book in my youth and adored it. A brother and sister run away from home, live in New York City's Metropolitan Museum, and become involved in a mystery. It is dated, in a lovely historical way, and the characters are rather 2 dimensional, but it is STILL a very good young adult read.
