Holy. Shit. What just happened? I feel like I just stepped out of a horror movie. OH WAIT. I kinda did, but it was a BOOK, not a movie. Dear lawd, what an insane ride of awesome this book was. It was 10 times more gruesome and intense than I Hunt Killers, with double the nail-biting moments. I canno...
I don’t think its possible for me to put in words how utterly brilliant this author is. Not only did he manage to give me nightmares, but his characters have slithered in my mind to stay. *shudders*Plot. This plot is so fantastically done that I can not seem to get it out of my mind. Every part of c...
HOLY SHIT!!! What a book!!! Once again Lyga does an amazing job of writing a suspense novel. This one was harder to understand where everything was going, especially with the dreams but holy shit, the last two chapters.. And now I have to wait for the third book! Seriously, Lyga, leaving me not know...
Good follow up in a promising series!I would give this 5 stars, but there are several parts that are hard to buy into. I know teenagers can be impulsive and dumb, but some of their decisions went beyond dumb.Ends in a MONSTER cliff-hanger :(
Lacked a lot of the snark and awesome dialogue the first one had. The scenes with Jasper going through the crime stuff were the sharpest, but it wasn't enough to want to continue. After 186 pages, I just couldn't do it anymore. I may try to pick it up later, but it's doubtful.
If you're in the mood for a book with high stakes, a killer (pun intended) mystery, and tons of suspense, you need to read Game. Because ifGame is any indicator of the rest of the series, the Jasper Dent books are just going to keep getting better and better. Read the rest of the review at The Pa...
I was in love with the first novel in Barry Lyga’s serial killer series I Hunt Killers. It had everything and as a reader who likes bad guys that are absolutely bad to the bone I fell hard for the killers introduced in the first novel and the ending that left me wondering one thing: What will happen...
Seen at my blog, Scott Reads It I Hunt Killers was one of my favorite books last year and so I wasn't quite sure what to expect with Game. I had heard that it wasn't as good as I Hunt Killers so I was a bit hesitant in picking up this book. Game, in my opinion is a stronger book than I Hunt Killers ...
I enjoyed I Hunt Killers and felt it had a bit of a YA Michael Connelly feel. However, Game is a total disappointment. Jazz, the main character, has regressed incredibly in my opinion since book one. His constant worries about having sex with Connie unleashing his inner killer were really exhausting...
