I loved it. The PandaBat read all the little cartoon interludes, and matched up the icons to the authors. The Possum stole it and held it for weeks, because she got sucked in by Libba Bray's story. There's all kinds of geekery at our house, so it was a great read.
I liked some stories more than others -- inevitable, I guess. Personally I'd have wished for more comic book geekisms, but I suppose I could settle for the small amount of Doctor Who references in the stories. I loved it because it was both about geekery (Klingons vs Jedi, the ideas of the purpose behind an...
It probably says more about me than about the book that the first, most important thing I need to say about it is that John Green, in his story 'Freak the Geek' got his facts about Aragorn and Arwen from LotR wrong. Although if you are a true geek, it will bother you to no end to read something out of order. I was one of those girls who spent her babysitting money on OMNI magazine (yo...
Geektastic is a very different book. I'm not going to write my own plot summary just because there are tons of different stories in Geektastic and it would take forever. I will say that they were all really cute and geeky!Okay I will admit that I am not that geeky. I have never been a fan of Star Wa...
