My tiny apartment kitchen is a disaster. Okay, it's not actually tiny. But sometimes it feels so tiny because it's so crammed with stuff. Or it was, before I read this book. Spirit of the Kitchen is short and sweet and a little new agey. Basically, reading it is kind of like having your zany best fr...

I have this friend who is an uncanny gift giver. (Hi Meghan!) She knew within a year of our acquaintance that I would treasure the gift of an old beloved book above just about anything else in the world. There are people who have known me, literally, my entire life who don't know this about me. (H...

This book is written with a very complex writing style. I typically read over 800 wpm but I wasn't able to read this book at anymore than about 350 wpm. With that said, Phantastes is a very beautiful book that will entrench, intrigue and mezmerize your senses.I will definitely be rereading this book...
