This book is aimed at those who are contemplating on taking up fishing as a hobby or sport. I was fortunate enough to learn to fish from knee high by my dad who took me on weekend trips to his favourite fishing spots and from day one I knew fishing was in my blood. We all have to start somewhere and whether you're young or not so young, fishing could be just the hobby you need to get you off the couch and outside to breathe some good clean air. This book will also come in handy for those of you who are novice to the sport right through to the seasoned angler in the sport of fishing. I believe that you can never know enough in this fishing game and even though you are an old hand and have been fishing for years, you are never too old to learn something new.
There are many types of fishing and I have tried to cover a few of them here. I wanted to give the beginner a little taste of the excitement we anglers get when we book our fishing trip or even just go to our local favourite fishing spot for a few hours of relaxation, peace and quiet away from the rat race.
