This book was not a bad read. It was probably more 3 1/2 stars than 3. It has a couple of tired horror motifs and predictable plot lines. But, in general was not a bad book at all.
Mediocre book. I thought I would like this author more than I did. I also had a hard time with the "romantic" secondary story. I really don't expect it from my male horror writers so when it pops up, it takes me by surprise! However, I will continue to read his books since this sample book did hold ...
