I absolutely love Vic (and Jacob). In this segment, Vic is starting to better understand and work on taking control of his abilities. We get to see a vulnerable side to Jacob, and it is nice to see him not quite Mr. Perfect. They go on an adventure to Psytrain, reluctantly accepting the help of C...

Well, I found this to be a riveting story. The sequence of events and the play of the characters kept me at the edge of my seat and there were moments where I was holding my breath reading through the pages. I loved the way Vic and Jacob showed character development throughout the story and how each ...

Did I ever mention how much I love this series? I'm taking this book bite by bite because I know I'll miss the characters when it's done. Jordan weaves a tapestry of interesting characters and reveals bits of their story at a time often like the characters in real life we learn more about them as we...

Another book that deserves more stars :)
If we are all made in God's image, does that mean God is gender fluid.....
I am like a dog with a bone sometimes. I got Among the Living because I got tired of seeing it on my Recommend List. I read the blurb months ago and said to myself, 'self, not for you". Excellent m/m paranormal romantic suspense in which Vic and Jacob head to California to find their friend Lisa, who's vanished without a trace. Definitely looking forward to the next book!

Each next book in the series improves considerably and hopefully there will be book 7. So far in my opinion, this is the best book in the series. I even started to like Marks a little before he was just Victor’s sidekick and seemed to have been created for only this reason. And for sex scenes, of co...

I am on the fence about this one. I can see it was well written but it took me a lot of time to finish the book. It did not capture me like the previous (first few) books.

I think I've said this before in a review for a book in this series, but I love the way Jordan writes. Her similes and metaphors are perfect. They generate the exact image needed to be able to picture what she's saying, and they're clever without being overwrought. Original without invoking the imag...

I don't know how JCP managed to live up to my expectations after Camp Hell, but somehow she did. The plot was really good, but what made me love the book were Vic's insights and character development, and watching his and Jacob's relationship evolve. The astral projection scenes were fascinating, an...
