I liked this book a little better than the first in the series. Roarke (the male romantic lead) irked me in the first book because he was over-exaggerated both on the sweet side of the spectrum and the alpha male side of the spectrum. This second book tones him down a bit - he's still very sweet and...

Good, but I'm thinking I may not be a mystery person after all. I did like the step-wise developments in the relationships, especially with Roarke, Mira, and even Sommerset. I'm finding myself more interested in that than the who-done-it, actually. This series will always be in the back of my min...
