After reading the first few pages of Gone, I was completely taken aback, my first thought being: Who are these people? The first third of the book reads like a farce, the characters merely playacting. In Wake and especially in Fade, Janie and Cabel are seemingly mature, trying to cope with their ind...
I liked this book. I liked that it was an extremely fast read (double-spaced and short chapters). I liked the feeling of the book....kind of dreamy which goes with the concept of a main character who is a dream catcher, someone who enters dreams.I found that this book was the best of the series.
After seeing all the one and two stars for this book I was worried about reading it. Did I really want this series to end on a bad book? I finished the book in one sitting and was surprised now by the low ratings. This book went well with the other two, of course it was more focused on Janie, but af...

Gone is an excelent conclusion to the Dream Catchers series. I am so sad that this has come to an end. These stories are so wonderfully sublime and gets across so many feelings and thoughts with few words. I am a huge fan of books like this and it shows what talent McMann has as an author. This ...

They're done with high school and decided to spend a week at a cabin with Cabe's brother and wife. A couple of days into the trip, Janie get...
I didn't know this was going to be the last book, but you could tell as you were reading it that there was something final about it. I'm sad to see the characters go.
Review in 75 Words or Less: Smooth and enjoyable read. Janie is forced to make the hardest choice of her young life, and sadly, neither option is an easy one. Cabel is not the easy to love character he has always been... Janie is so not easy to be around... everything is very dark. I throughly enjoy...
SPOILER ALERT: If you haven't read the first two books in this trilogy, this review will contain spoilers.Gone was, in my opinion, a great way to end the Dream Catcher trilogy. I wasn't sure there was any way it could live up to the other two books but it did a pretty good job and I really enjoyed r...
