During the centuries, there have been many prophets, who foresaw the end of time. From all those prophesies the most accurate and nice (with the archaic meaning of precise) were the ones of the witch Agnes Nutter. The irony is that her book never became popular. So, no-one suspected that the end was...

It's a shame that Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman only wrote one book together. Both writers are geniuses in their own ways and working as a duo, the result speaks for itself. The apocalypse is at hand and a misplace antichrist has no idea that forces of Heaven and Hell are vying for information a...

A re-read, to be honest... But then, I read it first back in 1996 or so, so it was like discovering it again. Now I remember why I lugged my old French paperback in my schoolbag for ages, and why it looked like it could've been Pollution's lovely child. (I regret throwing it away in favour of buying...

This collaboration is something unique. It's like the best of both Pratchett and Gaiman combind to make the ultimate parody of the apocalypse of Revelations. The only trouble is trying to talk about it without giving spoilers! Let's just say that the characters are top notch, the plot seriously un...

This was my introduction to Pratchett, in the written form. I can say I was not disappointed, Pratchett and Gaiman work well together.

Good one. Play with the birth of the son of Satan. It is good story telling with the subplots that when Satan team members live in a human world, they turned human themselves. Read it a long time ago and forgotten a lot of details. It is curious that I was a fan of Terry Pratchett before I was a...

Although very enjoyable, I'm not sure this book was as compelling as I remembered. I still think it deserves the five stars based on the sheer number of times that I've read it, however.
