It's a good story, but with a sad sad ending. The drawing and story-telling are both great. After you get familiar with the characters, it is just so sad the male character cannot be together with the woman he really loves.
The story arc draws to a mostly satisfying (though fairly creepy) conclusion, but the same misogyny that plagues the entirety of Wondie's New 52 run is in full force, as always. I enjoyed the run, for the most part, I really did, but the marginalization of the Greek goddesses and the depiction of th...
Is it like "haunted" only ...lame? Or maybe a euphemism for getting killed? What happened to Larry? Oh, he got ghosted. I don't know. Maybe I wouldn't have even noticed if I'd liked the comic more, but since I didn't, I'm just looking for stuff which I can make fun. Anyway. Ghosted is about ...
5 Stars, buy it It’s been a while since I’ve read the last one in the series. I couldn’t even remember what had been going on the last time I read this series. So Yorrick and company are in Japan still searching for Ampersand (the monkey for those of us just joining). He finally does get reunite...
Back to four stars, I went straight into this volume from the last and preferred it. There was less backstory but more explanation as we finally find out what caused the plague and it's not a bad explanation. I don't want to give away spoilers so I'll just leave this by saying that Yorick is one of ...
I don't know if it's because I took a break from reading this series or maybe it's just me but this volume felt a little- off. A lot was happening, a lot of backstory was put in, but it managed to feel like too much and not enough at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I love this series but this vol...
But no fear, because it bounces back in this book to the point where I wish I could give it six stars. Drama, a backstory that I adore, a good story arc and tying up of a few loose ends while still making you want to dive right into the next one. I can't say more without revealing spoilers but I wil...
Volume 6 is a book that dips down a little for me from my usual five star rating of this series just because it was all set on a boat and there were pirates and it should have been really interesting and it was- but not enough. It's still a four star book and this is still a cracking series but this...
This is all about a rich man who hires a criminal to create a team and get him a ghost, for his personal collection. Between character betrayals, and other assorted plot twists, this was just one fun ride. Jackson Winters gets a team of ghost trackers, con-artists, and skeptics together to stud...
