Crowley’s Window was a very good novella from Gord Rollo. The base story is very interesting and unique. The characters are drawn out well, in the short novella format, but maybe could have used a longer work to expound on some of the back stories and extend the ending a bit (which was a bit abrupt)...
I won this book through Librarything giveaway. It was a wonderful experience reading this novel. There are two short novellas in this one book. It would be rather easy for me to rate both the novellas individually. Only the thunder knows is a very interesting novel but I didn’t like the entire story...
Are you surprised I am reviewing this? Really? Well than you are new to Kriss’ world because in my world, vampires… THEY DON’T SPARKLE!!! I will hold back because there are tons of new readers this week and promise to keep most of my normal diatribe free of my colorful vocabulary.. promise. On that ...
Michael Fox has hit rock bottom in life. He's homeless, his wife and son were killed in an accident when they went to get him because he was too drunk to drive and his daughter wants nothing to do with him. He's about to climb onto railroad tracks and let a train kill him so his daughter gets his in...

There were some genuinely creepy and terrifying moments throughout the book. It grabs you and drags you all the way to the end. If this was Rollo's first novel (first one I ...

I like this because I can read or do laundry and not have to give very much atten...
Enjoyable read. One of those rare books that are difficult to put down. Exciting from beginning to end though somewhat predictable in places. Good job Gord.
I absolutely loved this book. Good ole fashion horror that had me almost looking under my bed! AND, I can never watch the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz again without thinking of this book. Great read!
While the story has enough medical holes to sink it, it is a very fascinating read. The premise is a deranged neurosurgeon that goes to extreme lengths to develop advanced neurologic treatments. He in effect becomes a modern day Frankenstein.
Fantastic cover, intriguing premise, average writing, villains too over the top for my taste. What I liked (besides the cover art, which is what got me to the cash register with this book in the first place): Gord Rollo wasn't afraid to raise the stakes against the protagonist. Think of the most vuln...
