Another great offering from this para/supernatural author. In this second book the writer seems to have ironed out the slight issues in the first book, which was also very good by the way, and in doing so created a stronger story. The set of characters are strong, believable and make the reader want...

Reviewed by: Rabid ReadsKalayna Price does an excellent job of keeping the case that Alex is working on in Grave Dance a mystery. The clues and possible leads are plentiful but will have you constantly changing your mind as to who the perp is. I love a good challenge! Although, I was really hoping f...

4.5/5Alex Craft turned out to be pretty fascinating series. Fans of Seanan McGuire certainly will gobble it up in between October Daye books. *wink*This is pure urban fantasy, and Alex's life is a mess. Alex's 'powers' still stayed enough within her original persona that it didn't feel like Price just kept adding cool new stuff for her to do, but they grew and developed in tandem wit...

So easy to jump back into Alex's world, well constructed to be interesting and a refresher (it has Brenda awhile since book 1). Though I'm not much on love triangles, Falin and Death are more poignant than most. I was rooting for Death, but by book's end I had empathy for both of them.

This was an excellent follow up to the first book, which I really enjoyed. I sometimes worry when I've loved the first book in a series that the next one(s) will pale in comparison. In this case, I needn't have worried. The mystery element here really had me stumped. I thought I had it all figured ou...
