I think I would have liked this book more if I would have had time to read it faster. It was one of those books that called for devouring hours at a time. I found this book sitting all by itself on a table at a library book sale. It was the last day of the sale and everything had been quite picked over except for this gem. Liked it more towards the end. The romance, which is what I was most interested in, only took up about 20% of the storyline. Lots of good history, though.
