Helped me to better understand the film, especially the latter part. Would be interested to learn more about Amelia Brand, but I doubt there's anything else official coming. Fair enough.

In today’s world of speculative fiction there are several different genres of fantasy. Though I can remember the days when there was only one and we described the novels we read with multiple adjectives rather than high jacking for nouns. Even though there many genres to explore, I lost count of the...

This book is wonderful for anyone who has been following The Elder Scrolls lore since TES III: Morrowind. It is written in the popular fantasy/sci-fi fashion where a different character narrates each chapter; sometimes the point of view switching even multiple times in one chapter. To some, this may...

Good idea, good characters and well-built world but the plot could have been a little less simple. Still I prefer simple to stupid, so am looking forward to reading the sequel.

They're all quite stylized: these are clearly authors who have either developed their authorial voices or are aping other, very distinct voices. I kinda enjoyed:Steven Erikson, "Goats of Gl...

It's actually more about Ben Franklin. (!) But then agai...

A direct sequel to 'The Waterborn,' this follows the story of Hezhi and Perkar, as different forces pull them this way and that way, each trying to use them for their own ends. There's a quest to destroy the god of the River - but is it the right thing to do? Meanwhile, a ghoul that was formerly a m...
