I didn't get to this for five months after I bought it but when I did it blew me away. Thoroughly enjoyable read. The kind of thing I'd have not expected to love this much just based on premise which speaks to the author's skill and voice. Rich and rewarding read. Recommended.
I like the leading character Harper, she's a tough PI. Story moves at a good clip and keeps you engaged in the storyline, didn't drag in the middle. I hope Harper figures out how to live in her new environment and the next books in the series continue to improve. I plan to continue with the serie...
Didn't love it. Didn't hate it. I am compelled enough to read book too but it is not because of the main character. I can't connect to Harper. Actually I don't like her much at all. But I do like the secondary characters, Mara, Cameron, and especially Quinton enought to read at least one more.

The concept and premise of this book are both of interest to me, and overall I enjoyed the story. But it definitely feels like a "set up the series" novel, which led to a few pacing issues, and there were times when word choices threw me out of the story.
Ms. Richardson is a new to me author. I have been searching for some good urban fantasy. I spied upon this book in Books a Million when on vacation. It was in the bargain section so of course I had to purchase it. This "greywalker" concept where Harper is able to walk between worlds because she'...
This one always reads so slow for me, I have a hard time getting past Harper's resistant attitude. Skipping to later in the series, I love her once she adds the Grey into her P.I. tool belt.
3.5This is the first novel in this series. it is a bit rough at times, I got lost in some of the whirlwind details. I found myself lost on more than one occasion, the Grey was written so squirrelly. Everything was, stinky, squishy, swirly, I don't know.. What ?The mystery keep my interested, I neede...
