Drat, barely a vampire cameo. Will need another book. No matter. I'm not as invested in Andrea, much less in her hit-me/kiss-me relationship with Raphael, but I had fun. V. entertaining. Andrea's beastkin form puzzled me a bit though - why would she have a more...human...body shape? And why can't she shift into a hyena? Am still puzzled about what constitutes a first. How is Curran a first? And then there's Roman. Enough of that. The snake people are a curiosity...
