Handle with Care is a heart-wrenching novel about illnesses and family relations. Picoult writes in such a way that I am not sure who is right and wrong, or what side I should be on. The lawsuit is trying and it almost breaks the family because they feel the same way. This is written from multipl...

The ending ruined it for me.

I'm a big fan of Jodi Picoult and have read many of her novels (I also have three on my to-be-read shelf!); I really enjoy her novels and they always give one something to think about. I do agree with other reviewers that she is quite formulaic and some of her twists are very predictable; for this r...

Jodi Picoult is one of my favorite authors and "Handle With Care" is a shining example of the way the author is able to write - flawlessly - about characters you can believe in, and feel for. Wow!. Picoult does it again. From adoption, to abortion, to teenager "disorders", OI, and family issues. Just amazing. She twists and twists and twists to the end.

Not one of her best. This one was more like My Sister's Keeper than I would have preferred. Picoult always writes very well, but this story was not one that captured my attention like some of her others. While I will always appreciate her novels, I've read better by her.

I have read all of Jodi Picoult's books and while I cant say I liked them all this one for me was the worst. It was the most depressing book I have ever read. Yes there were quite a few touching moments, the "you can do anything you set your mind to" theme ran through it but the overall tone of th...
