I said it before, and I'll say it again (and probably not for the last time) I love Nora Roberts' books. Even if I can't quite put my finger on why I would enjoy her books so much. I'm not normally one for romances and I hate predictable books. And Roberts' books invariable are romances and because ...
And another great Bride Quartet book to close the series. Despite it didn't quite meet my high expectations (the sparkage between Mal and Parker in the previous books somehow mellowed down), I still loved it from beginning to end. I think this was the book with the most perfect blend of romance an...
I loved the whole Bride Quartet Series - but the others more than this book. The rating is a bit off, it was more like 3.5 stars.I loved Parker, but the whole storyline? Not really. Sometimes the book seemed to go on and on, sometimes (especially the ending) it felt rushed. I liked that the book inc...
This is the fourth and sadly the final book in the Bride Quartet series. Mackenzie, Parker, Laurel and Emmaline have been friends since childhood and have formed a successful wedding planning business together called Vows. Although they help thousands of couples organise their biggest day, all have ...
The level of fantasy in this story reminds me of one of Baum’s “Oz” books, where filled lunchboxes grow on bushes. Parker’s home is always perfectly neat and there’s invariably a well-stocked little refrigerator wherever you go, even in her closet -- with no sign of a house staff other than the a...
I absolutely loved it. Mal was my kind of guy. I loved how he pushed Parker and confused the heck out of her. They were the perfect match. I'm glad NR closed it off the way that she did. The gift that Mal gave to Parker was perfect. Of course a gal like me would appreciate it.
Another solid series from NR! Great ending, and of course, makes me sad to say goodbye to all of these fantastic characters. I wish we could see all of their weddings.
Perhaps I'm getting somewhat jaded with age but this also had a been-there read-that feel. And SURPRISE...there's a wedding and a happy ever after. Seemed a little trite and overdone after the previous three in this series.
3/5 It’s been ages since I last read something by Nora Roberts! Reading this again, has me recalling all I’ve read of hers. There were a couple of months, when all I read was something by her. I went from series to series starting with her family sagas where each member had a little (or not so litt...
