Harpo has always been my favourite Marx Brother, and it was a delight to read his autobiography. It is entertaining, although I'm not sure all the stories should be taken at face value (he is a Marx Brother, after all!). It was still a wonderful and enjoyable read.
what a wonderful memoir! it's clear to me that harpo told these stories to an effective writer who knew how to get it all down -- to have to edit a guy who spells dead "ded" would have been rather difficult. :)this book covers the whole of harpo's life -- childhood, the rise of the marx brothers, an...
