4.5 starsI thought this was a great end to a great trilogy. I am very pleased that Crane not only kept her characters genuine the entire series but did not throw unnecessary plot devices at us (like pregnancies which so many authors feel the need to add these days). The world is highly entertaining ...

This series has been a mini roller coaster ride. The characters always did the unexpected and the stuff that happened, I never saw them coming! I've grown to love the quirky characters of the Disillusionist world and with this being the last instalment, I was sort of reluctant to read it. However, w...

The Disillusionist Series is one of my all time favorites and Packard is a beloved book boyfriend. SO hard to read the first part of this book, Crane manages I make Otto completely reprehensible, threatening, and yet, still human. Packard is more romantic than usual, and this gritty brand of HEA is all the more poignant for the darkness these characters have gone through.

NOT sure about the rating yet.First of all: This was a very satisfying end. I usually mention Carolyn Crane when asked what I consider good urban|contemporary|paranormal fantasy. She writes believable characters and she either is a Justine or she did some good research. (Am I a Justine because I not...

Weeks since last free of body guards Otto has assigned to "protect" her, Justine is with Simon eluding her protectors and looking for her car. Justine only has two Disillusionist friends left, Simon (hard to believe) and Shelby, as the others have all left on their own missions and a few left with ...

Absolutely amazing!!! Head Rush is a very satisfying end to this fun fun series. Each book in this trilogy is so special to me and they are just plain fun to read. The characters are unique, fun – and well as it has been said quite a bit about this series – quirky. In Head Rush, the characters ar...
