This book is a result of a challenge I didn’t think I’d be facing. My daughter’s first birthday party. I didn’t want to serve the usual fairy bread and cocktail frankfurts on a stick (which I still love but can’t bring myself to eat any more!). We’d done a party four years previously for my son’s first birthday and as it was mostly adults, the catering had been pretty much what I wanted to eat. But for my daughters party there were lots of kids of all ages coming.
As an avid subscriber to healthy food and wellness blogs, I was amazed I couldn’t find an interesting collection of healthy kids party food. So I made my own collection and have been adding ideas to it ever since.
This book has you covered for kids with all types of food allergies, recipes are marked if they are dairy free, gluten free, nut free, sugar free, egg free, vegan or vegetarian. The majority of the healthy recipes for kids are dairy free, gluten free and sugar free.
