This was supposedly a kind of climax in this series - as the conflict with Pure Psy comes to an conclusion and all the little mysteries that were scattered over the series were disclosed. And it had two very very very damaged heros. Kaleb and Sahara. Both tortured and damaged beyond what normal ...

Confession time: I managed the difficult task of not reading spoilers about this book, even after all this time!! The book that would reveal the mysterious identity of the Ghost....well, not that mysterious for those of us who have been reading this series from day one, i guess. But even so, the b...

You're mine," Simple quiet words that were a punch to the chest. "I will fight for you, today, tomorrow, and all the tomorrows to come."This review will be shorter than this story deserves, but trying to avoid spoilers, I am going to have to shorten it a bit. HEART OF OBSIDIAN is the twelfth book in Nalini Singh’s brilliant and exciting A PSY-CHANGELING NOVEL series. It is a game changer of a book, with the Psy-Changeling world hanging on a knife-edge. If you’ve kept up with the series so far, then you’ll know how volatile the world is. All that’s needed...

I did the unspeakable and skip 10 books in between and went ahead to read Heart of Obsidian. To my surprise, the things I learned from Book 1 and 2 have changed so much. There are now two Psy groups, Psy and Pure Psy. What the hell is that? Is mind boggling when I tried to understand all the politic...

I was quite impressed with how much the writing style has matured and improved so much. Will definitely keep an eye out for future offerings from thi...

Rating: 5 out of 5. This was hands down the best Psy-Changeling Book I have read so far. I loved loved absolutely loved the hero. Out of all the heroes, I have to say, I prefer Psy men over Changeling men. I like their cool control. It makes them a dangerous but loyal group. I loved the heroin...

Kaleb Krycheck is silence he is both cold and inscrutable, known only for his unconscionable actions. Kaleb is truly complex as it is unclear what he wants. When Kaleb steals Sahara who has a broken mind from kidnappers yet does not take her home the big question is why? What on earth could be his m...

Not my favorite. Yes it's "dark", but that's not why. Singh doesn't go in for torture porn, unlike some writers *cough*sherrilynkenyon*cough*, so there's more telling than showing for the icky stuff, which is fine with me. I just prefer her books that have more interaction from the secondary cha...
