As a fan of Garwood's for many years, when I saw her break from traditional romance I wasn't sure how I felt about it. In the end it was a vey good thing that I read it out of loyalty anyway, because Garwood is just simply a great writer IMO. My tastes were evolving at the same time as her writing...
Audiobook. Also have hardback. The narrator uses the same voice for everyone - it was too hard to figure out who was talking.
Julie Garwood is easily one of my favorite romantic suspense authors.
