a very powerful book; as thin as it is, it's not for a second an easy read and proves once more that less words can mean more depth, if chosen right. i am definitely a fan of Llosa's now, and eager to read more of what he has written.
I didn't suffer this much with any book since Twilight. But now I'm older and wiser and have learnt that we don't have to finish every books we started.

This is a book I'm supposed to like, but it just never caught. Not much of a review -- I was just happy I finished it.
