Fabulous!!!! Loved loved loved this book from beginning to end. Words can't even describe how much I enjoyed this book. I think this was my fav from the series. I was hesitant to start it to be honest given the plot was centered around deception which I'm not a big fan of. But goodness this was amaz...

10/30/10 - I had to re-read this after Rowena reviewed it. Not surprisingly I enjoyed it just as much the second time, if not more. 7/2/10 - I have to be honest and say I wasn't really looking forward to this book until the very end of the last book. Up until that point, Beatrix still seemed very yo...

So so so so so cute. Beatrix is such a delightful character and that first bedroom scene was too funny for words.

Beatrix Hathaway has always loved and adored animals, and has studied them throughout the years of her young life. 4.5 stars. Loved Beatrix's book. I'm a big damaged hero fan, and I loved how accepting Beatrix was of Christopher. The "we'll get through it together" theme rather than "you'll be ok" makes me feel good - acknowledgement that there is an issue, but that they were a team. It wasn't Christopher's prob...

3.5Wasn't as good as the other Hathaway books (minus Poppy's book which was sort of eh).I really like Beatrix but she has always been the outsider in her family. I would have actually liked more in terms of getting to know Bea better. Christopher is a good flawed lead but again, I needed more. There ...

All Lisa Kleypas books are good but I liked the other books in this series better than this one. Animal lover Beatrix was a favorite character in each Hathaway story so my expectations were high. Beatrix writes letters using her friends name to military Captain Christopher and correspondence turns r...

There have been so many beautiful reviews written about this book from my goodreads friends that I am just going to add a few more comments. I decided that I am not going to say "goodbye" to the Hathaways because I hope to see them again in future series. I have grown to really love this fictional...
