A really easy read that I happily fell into. I liked the storyline, the characters (well, most of them) and have gone and bought the second book already so that I can see what happens next.I really liked the thing between Archer and Sophie and hope something good can come about in the next one.

Meh. I thought this book was quite mediocre. The overall plot was fairly cheesy and didn't feel very original. I also found Sophia pretty annoying. She was so naive and unsuspecting I couldn't help but want to shake some sense into her. The whole "I've never even used a flyswatter" claim was super p...

This is not a bad book. If I were younger and if I had not read the books I've read so far, I'd probably liked it much more. However, the book lacks originality, which makes 80% of the story a total ZZZZZZ. The formula has been so over-used. As a HP fan, I found tons of similarity, as well as with...

Even though the green dress in kinda plain, I still think it's cute. The cat made me all excited, but then there wasn't really any mention of a cat in the book. So sad. But other than the lack of cat(s), I still loved this book. I really liked the mixture of witches/warlocks, fairies, werewolves, an...

This was a surprisingly enjoyable ya read. I really enjoyed the writing, the characters and the story. This is the opening of a trilogy (I think) so a lot of time is spent in world discovery. I'm hoping the second book which I suspect will have more depth to its story will maintain the fantastic pa...

After a spell went wrong sixteen year old Sophie was sent to Hex Hall, an isolated school for witches, faeries and shapeshifters, until she was eighteen. Sophie's classmates started to get hurt and her new roommate, a vampire, was being blamed for it. I liked the characters. Jenna the best friend,...
