Interesting. At least in this one, she knew what was going on, so it was just a matter of coming up with a plan. Also interesting to find out what Saiman actually is. And...Curran to the rescue. I have to say, you kinda wonder about a world where people don't bat an eye at the appearance of a troll.

I've been on an urban fantasy kick and have been devouring this series. In this book we find out more about Kate's childhood, the sexual tension increases, and Kate and crew get all gladiatorial. We also meet Dali a genius legally blind werecat. There is a lot of humor and self depreciation that ru...

I'm totally hooked on this series. Except I STILL really dislike Curran as a romantic partner. I think he's an interesting character but you start to put him as a a romantic lead it squicks me out. I don't think he's much better then Edward Cullen or Christian Grey as far as all that goes. The thing...

Well, of course I enjoyed it. Too much, actually, as I stayed up until midnight finishing it, reading through the effects of my sleeping medication. The book overcame the chemicals. I'd have rated the story even higher, but I'm not a fan of pit-fight story settings; I never found the idea of the...

5 stars I would go out into the street right now and scream at the top of my lungs that this book is awesome. I would. But writing it calmly on GR has much more chances of causing some kind of positive effect. Besides, I might have already done it on NYE. My memory fails me. If I decided to o...

This book was freaking amazing! As I was reading it, I thought it had a solid story line (I preferred this one over the first two books) and it reinforced how much I like Kate. I remember thinking that one of the downfalls for me was her relationship with Curran; I really wasn't feeling it. However,...
