My review contains spoilers and they're mostly my thoughts as I went with the book...This one’s so far my favorite in MM books. Although not the way I envisioned the book, I absolutely loved the 1st half of the book even knowing how sad it’d be when Elizabeth gets to learn about Patrick’s deception....
4.5 stars. Exciting and an almost constant change of scenery, which is great. I don't like staying in the same drafty castle for 300 pages. The more I read of Monica McCarty, the more I want to know about what happens to the rest of the characters in her books. I like how all of her series flow ...
