Joe Hill is definitely following in the footsteps of his famous daddy, Stephen King. Where to these guys get these ideas?? I love the way the book flips between time frames but it does give away a lot of the mystery really early. I am looking forward to seeing more from Joe as he grows as a writer.

Pretty much exactly a year after his girlfriend Merrin Williams was found raped and murdered, Ignatius "Ig" Perrish wakes up after getting blackout drunk and discovers horns spouting from his forehead. He's not entirely sure they're not a hallucination at first, but when he discovers how people beha...

As Horns is basically about a man who wakes up one day and finds that horns have sprouted on his head it is very tempting to start with a very lame joke “here is a guy who wakes up feeling horny - LOL!”. Fortunately I would never stoop to that level (plus it has already been done).OK, so Ignatius Ma...

I came into Horns expecting a more traditional scary book. It's definitely disturbing, but not scary per say. I did have some nightmares cause Deanna Dosent truck with any snakes. I ended up really loving Horns. I'm a sucker for dark and twisty. I'll probably end up counting this a one of the best b...
