Surprisingly good! The cover looks like a cheezy 70s gothic, and I can't get into those Club Shadowlands books by this author, but this is good stuff right here. The female lead is tough, competent and honorable; the characters are fleshed out, there's some steamy action but it is not just PWP.

Maybe my expectations were too high going into reading this, but it left me feeling...meh. Not bad, nothing too exciting, sex decent--not amazing, not even the menage with brothers. I did like the take on how Victoria became a were. Overall, I was just underwhelmed. Could be me.
