When I first read this book I was surprised by the ending, because it was something I hadn't considered happening. It starts off with Bianca and Lucas with the Black Cross after Evernight had burned down a few days earlier.Bianca hadn't eaten anything since and she was getting antsy. She knows that t...

Oh Claudia Gray… what did you do to me?Just like with the first two books in the series I was unable to put “Hourglass” down. Not even while I was terribly exhausted, emotionally wrecked, teary eyed and tired because I spent the whole night reading through. *sigh* The pages and hours just flew by an...

I was looking forward to reading this book as I had enjoyed the previous installments. Hourglass finds Bianca and Lucas hiding out with the Black Cross vampire hunters. They want to leave the group and strike out on their own, but they face a few challenges. I have mixed feelings about this book. I ...

I liked the first two books in this "Twilight with a twist" series enough to want to read the third, but I couldn't get into it. The writing style seemed so simplistic.

Mostly, I have to complain about Bianca. She so annoyed me and I find she's way to harsh to her parents. Way too much...

This is actually a 4.5 but since you can't give 1/2 stars it has to be 5. This went in different way than I expected, which is not a bad thing at all. I really enjoy the relationship between Bianca & Lucas and since they finally took it to the next level it is far more believable. The ending has ...

As Macdonald Carey states, "Like sands from the hourglass, so are the days of our lives." This third venture into the Evernight series certainly doesn't disappoint, though you probably could figure out the story synopsis from the title and the title of its sequel, Afterlife. Despite that, I think th...

Hourglass is book 3 in the Evernight series. This was a very exciting, action packed installment. It takes place right after Stargazer left off. Lucas and Bianca have taken off with the vampire hunters Black Cross after their attack on Evernight academy. It has been awhile since I read Stargazer, bu...
