This volume was actually a little bit better. I found something to get emotionally invested in (Ray's new world). I think that things are starting to come together, but I don't know if that will make me care any more about the vast majority of these characters.

The Justice League concept had kind of languished at DC for awhile when Morrison hit this one out of the park. Not only does he bring the Big 7 back together in an excellent story, we get the first look at Morrison's take on Batman which would define the character for at least a decade.

A decent read...but this is where Grant Morrison's JLA run started to lose steam...the story involving the fifth dimension was just a convoluted mess at times...
