I think this is supposed to be a psychological thriller, but it just isn't thrilling enough to categorize as a thriller. Hysteria is full of mystery though, which is what drew me in. A nice mix of creepy, romantic and exciting. I'm probably going to have dreams of crazy, psycho boyfriends pounding down doors with knives, but hey, it'll be worth it. This is definitely the sort of book I was looking for when I went searching for mystery-thrillers! 4/5 stars
Hysteria was high up on my reading list well before it came out so when I first got my library card it was one of the first books I requested, and then patiently(um, not) waited for my hold to come through. I had heard mixed things about Hysteria but that didn’t stop me, I love a good mystery thrill...
