Riya's cousin Saki comes back to Japan from New York, partly to visit and partly to check up on him by order of Riya's father. The day of Riya's school concert arrives, and it's revealed that the cause of Riya's multiple personality disorder was the abuse received at the hands of his own father. Atsushi attends the concert and Saki sees the bond between Atsushi and Riya. Saki goes back to Japan again for a concert of his own, where Kousaka confronts Riya about his split personality and about Atsushi. The volume ends with Riya receiving an abusively berating phone call from his father, Kousaka confronting his yet again, and Atsushi coming to realize that he's fallen in love with Riya.
