Wow, this one caught me by surprise. Imaginative, original and intense. My love of weather studies didn't hurt, either. I found the lead character, Joanne, every bit as intriguing as Butcher's Dresden. Would love to see those two hook up in a story sometime. Ah, well, one can dream.
WARNING This review will be filled to the brim with spoilers....... I rather enjoyed this book, though i must admit to enjoying the Outcast Series quite a bit more. I think it mainly had to do with the fact that I liked Outcast's main character, Castiel more than Joanne, but that's just me. Also...
It was good. Nothing mind blowing or life changing, but a typical urban-fantasy. I liked the story and the world-building enough to go on with the series, and it had some good moments (like the ending was great!) I would recommend checking it out :)
I finally read this! I enjoyed it but I did find it rather slow until David came along. Very curious about book two. Full review to follow. :)
