5.0 Book Review: Illuminae
This book is a delight! I was really unsure about this one because the story is told through emails, instant messages, military files and medical records. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get engaged with the story without more traditional prose to unite everything but I was so wrong. This...

4.0 Enjoyed this
The set up of this novel is pretty good. The cast too is varied in terms of gender. In other words, the heroine is not the only kick ass girl. Once I was able to "forget" that the lead was 17 (she so does not sound like it), the book worked. Quite enjoyable. Nice, quick read.

3.5 Illuminae by Jay Kristoff and Amy Kaufman

I just love the character of Kady what a badass she turns out to be in this book, I loved that she wasn't winne and she did thinks for herself and didn't need a man to save her. I really also loved Ezra as w...
