Book: Incubus Dreams (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter #12)Author: Laurell K. HamiltonPublication Date: 9/27/2005Reviewed by: Tammy Payne- Book Nook Nuts My Rating: 5 Stars REVIEW Anita is gaining even more power almost more than Jean Claude. But the price to pay for it is a ton of hot sex with just abo...
This book epitomizes all that went wrong with this series. It starts tantalizingly like the early books, seeming like it might be another noir-like supernatural mystery. And there were several developments that would be enough for several books, which might be cool if they were followed up in either...
Between 150 and 200 pages of this are actual plot out of a book that's over 650 pages long, the rest is mostly soft porn. The series has turned into a Anita shagathon, and as it's getting repeditive it isn't even erotic anymore it's just skim-worthy. The justification is also kinda corny. I'm quit...
I start most reviews with a recap. That would require there to be plot for me to recap. Ok fine, I’ll try:Anita gains new woo-woo (lots of sex is needed)Relationship angstStrippers are murdered, people manage to care about that at the end of the book. There, done.It never ceases to amaze me how a boo...
What a chore this book was! I was rewarded for slogging through the muck at the very end. I'll continue this series (mainly because I have a personal problem with not doing so) but I'll not jump straight back in to Anita's world just yet.
This is my 2nd time reading this book, 1st review tho.I enjoyed it as much as i did the first time around. So much is happening in this book. It's close to be another of my fav's. I liked the plot and the new power level and the scene with Wicked/Truth.
*head-desk*Oh ffs. Like the one before this, the book actually started out like the previous Anita books. You know, like a plot might be beginning. But it wasn't too far into the book before the first sex scene hit. The first of many. And I swear that LKH introduced characters just to have more peop...
Anita, Richard, and Jean-Claude come together again to continue the expansion and exploration of their powers. Micah and Asher become an even more integral part of the complex makeup of characters. Very, very sexy and a very exciting read.
