First read 10/30/09. 2nd time reading, this time by audiobook. Also have the paperback.I liked this book more the 2nd time around. Richard is trying but not very successfully to reconcile with Anita and to a lesser extent Jean-Claude. I like that Nathaniel is more than just being used and has st...

I have officially given up on Antia! After the last two books gave me a serious case of squint-eye, I had almost given up, but I decided to give Anita the benefit of the doubt one more time and try and ignore the fact that she now seems to have sex with every single male character in the series.Well,...

I loved this one (well I love them all so far) Eventhough there are a lot more sexscenes in this one it didn't bther me at all....I love how you see Anita evolve throughout this serie....I can hardly put the book(s) down just have to know what happens next.....and can't wait for the next one....

Finally, Anita gets back to work as a preternatural expert in a vampire serial killer case, all while dealing with new powers, love triangles, and consequences of her alliances...Better than Narcissus in Chains but still a 4 star.

I don't agree with all the reviewers that say the mystery side of things has gone downhill...I still think most of it is interesting. Edward really gets on my nerves, I wish someone would kill him.

There is no plot or characterization left in these books. They're just sex scenes interspersed with an occasional bit of dressing up or describing someone's long beautiful hair and gem-colored eyes.

While I don’t have a problem with the theme of sex, it can be a bit much. Overall, these three books - Narcissus in Chains, Cerulean Sins and Incubus Dreams - are good, I enjoy them all. However, the plot does begin to have an erotic thrill to it and if you’re into that kind of thing, then these boo...

This is a huge doorstop of a book and the latest installment of Anita Blake's sexcapades with beautiful otherworldly men. This one begins at the wedding of Larry & Tammy whom after this interlude are not mentioned again. Anita is one of Larry's groomsmen. Her dates are Micah and Nathaniel. Hey, why b...

I hedged between 7 and 8 for this particular book but finally settled on 7 since I don't feel it measures up to LKH's past work. Though others have claimed it's awful, I just like LKH's writing style way too much to give this book anything less than a 7. That said, there was very little substance ...
