Their parents are best friends. They're not too far apart in age. Their parents have sort of expected that they'd get together...
I love stories about best friends falling in love and this was a very good take on that theme with lots of very hot love scenes, likeable characters and a lot of emotion.
This book was very long, and Rachel got on my nerves. She was very childish and obnoxious, and I think Shawn should have ditched her!
