Do you know who you are—really?
Evelyn is seventeen and is perfect in every way. She is compassionate, intelligent, athletic, and generally successful at anything she does—except for one thing. None of that perfection translates into popularity. While she doesn't care about it, she is cognizant of the fact that something is wrong. Disaster strikes when she confides in her mother. Now, she must overcome an unbearable tragedy and survive a world that couldn't care less. Her lackluster youth has ended, along with everything she has ever believed in. However, can she save herself and that same uncaring world before the unthinkable occurs? Something is horribly different about Evelyn. Solving the question of who, and what she is, will not only determine if she survives, it will also determine whether humanity survives.
