I liked this one more than the first. I felt like you really got to know Jeremiah's character more in this, because there are chapters from his point of view. To be completely honest, those were my favorite chapters in the whole book. I have like Jeremiah better the whole time, and his chapters r...
Finished this in 3hrs. When I said I needed to take a break from paranormal, dystopian and fantasy and sci-fi genres, I never thought this week would all be for contemporary fiction. And that's saying something because there is very few I love. I'm usually not into it. But not this. Now on to the th...
4.5 StarsI wanted to read this book for awhile but I was also really reluctant because I knew it was going to be sad. I guess it is just human nature (or mine) to put off thing that we know are going to hurt. But I am glad I eventually read it because this book is even better then the first one.It...
I just read the funeral part. And the only thing I'm thinking is how selfish Bell is. I can't imagine the things she said and did. And Conrad was right when he said she was just a child, because she acted like one. She always makes assumptions without knowing anything. Jeremiah is so sweet, but he...
Note: I had a hard time writing this review because I really did try to do away with the spoilers. It's hard describing things without giving anything off. It's Not Summer Without You is a sequel to The Summer I Turned Pretty. In my review of The Summer I Turned Pretty I mentioned that the most inter...
The second book in the Summer trilogy was definitely not as good as the first book. I missed the summer goodness and hated all the new drama. And when Belly went back and forth between the brothers? *cough cough* Slut! I hope she gets her shit together in the next book..
I just want to kill Belly. And make her suffer a slow and painful death. This book is just so emotional. It touches every sensitive thing a person could ever experience, and in that way, worms its way into our hearts.
Mesmerised me and rekindled my love for 'Belly' and the boys (Belly and the Boys - sounds like a CD title!). Loved Jeremiah, more so than Conrad, but still found Conrad's brooding to be addictive, damn him!! A great read.
