English review, followed by the Romanian translation of the review (Recenzie în engleză, urmată de traducerea în română a recenziei)As much as I love the Emily the Strange books, I couldn't seem to enjoy this comic book. The title pretty much says it all: it was simply boring. While I was reading thi...
Emily the Strange. Man, do we go back. I've been a fan of hers since... well, years! I've always been a fan of the macabre and the grotesque. Anything that's dark and a little spooky. I love it all! I like getting the crap scared out of me so when I discovered Emily a few years back, I was quite gla...
If you want to know more go to: http://www.jessysbookends.blogspot.com/2012/01/emily-strange-lost-days.htmlThe Lost Days is a fantastic book by Rob Reger and Jessica Gruner. I began reading it and it captured my interest from the beginning. The story is about a girl who finds herself with amnesia ...
Nothing like what I expected (though I'm not 100% sure what I did expect), which may be why I really couldn't like it. Kind of boring, repetitive, and just a bit too bizarre for my taste, which is saying something.

I love Emily the Strange books! They're STRANGE! I thought they were hilarious. I'm addicted to these books. I'm also totally digging the cover. I am always entertained and laughing out loud, when I read this series. And NO I'm NOT too old for this series either! Anyone in their right mind would re...

A comparatively slow build-up leads to a big problem for Emily; herself. Yep, the reader is...
Now, this is a great little book! I really enjoyed it. It is about a quirky girl and her quirky friends in a quirky little town. It was fun! Great illustrations, too.
I was so excited to be able to acquire this book, and I expected so much fun from reading it as I always consider Emily The Strange as cool before. but later I don't find that much fun... the plot's flow is kind of too slow, although maybe that's okay if this book is really targeted for pre-teens.
