English review, followed by the Romanian translation of the review (Recenzie în engleză, urmată de traducerea în română a recenziei)As much as I love the Emily the Strange books, I couldn't seem to enjoy this comic book. The title pretty much says it all: it was simply boring. While I was reading thi...

Emily the Strange. Man, do we go back. I've been a fan of hers since... well, years! I've always been a fan of the macabre and the grotesque. Anything that's dark and a little spooky. I love it all! I like getting the crap scared out of me so when I discovered Emily a few years back, I was quite gla...

I thought the story was quite boring. Meh.And I'm not too compelled to write a proper review.

Nothing like what I expected (though I'm not 100% sure what I did expect), which may be why I really couldn't like it. Kind of boring, repetitive, and just a bit too bizarre for my taste, which is saying something.

Emily the Strange is a strange little girl, and Emily the Strange: The Lost Days is a strange little novel. It is the first in a series about Emily, her four cats and the many other weird and wonderful people she encounters in her adventures.Thirteen things I have to say about Emily the Strange: The...

I love Emily the Strange books! They're STRANGE! I thought they were hilarious. I'm addicted to these books. I'm also totally digging the cover. I am always entertained and laughing out loud, when I read this series. And NO I'm NOT too old for this series either! Anyone in their right mind would re...
Arbie's Unoriginally Titled Book Blog
This is the second novel for the character who started life as a T-shirt design. It is more conventionally structured than the first book where the reader and Emily are dropped in at the deep end from page 1. A comparatively slow build-up leads to a big problem for Emily; herself. Yep, the reader is...

Now, this is a great little book! I really enjoyed it. It is about a quirky girl and her quirky friends in a quirky little town. It was fun! Great illustrations, too.

I was so excited to be able to acquire this book, and I expected so much fun from reading it as I always consider Emily The Strange as cool before. but later I don't find that much fun... the plot's flow is kind of too slow, although maybe that's okay if this book is really targeted for pre-teens.
