It's a good story, but with a sad sad ending. The drawing and story-telling are both great. After you get familiar with the characters, it is just so sad the male character cannot be together with the woman he really loves.
I think I just need to hang up the towel and admit this series is not for me. It's gruesome and dark in a way that doesn't appeal to me. The characters are either sadistic or they fall prey to other sadistic characters. I wouldn't say I'm too squeamish to enjoy any horror, but this kind of horror I ...
Well this was definitely an unhurried beginning to this series. Points go to the Y: The Last Man for having an intriguing premise. Without warning, all the males of the world are dead. Animal and man alike. The cause is unknown, the world is in turmoil, and revolution is on the horizon. Sounds fasci...
I will confess I watched "The Flashpoint Paradox" Justice League movie prior to reading this, and let me tell you, I was blown away at how dark this story arc is. This is like "What If?" on steroids. The movie goes into some explanations I won't get into, and I tried to forget I knew that, because I ...
This is the first Fables volume I have given less than five stars in a while. I think it was because I just don't like Jack. He annoys the heck out of me. This volume was so weird, yet still so amazing. I really liked how much more of Yorick's past is revealed as well as some very interesting details regarding Dr. Mann's clone. This volume was such a quick read because it is non-stop action. Absolutely perfect.
