This is one where I threw it in. I had the next couple volumes on deck even, but alas, I am done with this series. And it's all because of Jack; fuck that guy. I am free of fucks to give, and I absolutely refuse to follow his side-comics to catch up, which I would have to do if I wanted to go on wit...

I picked up the first two installments because this series is always on the "Best Of" lists. Idk, it just wasn't for me I guess. It was thin and cliched and told a different version of the same story that others have told much better. Also Yorick is really annoying. I'm usually a stickler about fini...

I guess I just don't know enough about Flash and the villains and allies specific to him to really understand a lot of those story lines? I did like Kid Flash Lost, though. That last one was interesting. Oh, and the one about the President Gorilla? That was intriguing. But all that about Hea...

I cried. I admit. I cry every dang time I read this volume and I'm not talking just the one time. There are two distinct points in this that make me tear up.In general, I'm not a fan of endings. Mostly I'm left unsatisfied or annoyed compared to how I felt about the series as a whole, (looking at yo...

Back to four stars, I went straight into this volume from the last and preferred it. There was less backstory but more explanation as we finally find out what caused the plague and it's not a bad explanation. I don't want to give away spoilers so I'll just leave this by saying that Yorick is one of ...

I don't know if it's because I took a break from reading this series or maybe it's just me but this volume felt a little- off. A lot was happening, a lot of backstory was put in, but it managed to feel like too much and not enough at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I love this series but this vol...

But no fear, because it bounces back in this book to the point where I wish I could give it six stars. Drama, a backstory that I adore, a good story arc and tying up of a few loose ends while still making you want to dive right into the next one. I can't say more without revealing spoilers but I wil...

Volume 6 is a book that dips down a little for me from my usual five star rating of this series just because it was all set on a boat and there were pirates and it should have been really interesting and it was- but not enough. It's still a four star book and this is still a cracking series but this...

I love this series so much! My only complaint about this volume was I felt that some of this issues were resolved unrealistically fast. Someone would want something from someone else. That person would refuse. Then the first countered and it all worked out. Some of the conflicts just seemed rushed. ...

Well, I read that in less than 45 minutes. Please excuse me while I go crawl into a box of tissues.
