Ahh it's been quite a while since I read this. However, I remember it was a cute book, very sweet and funny, but also exciting. Sorta like Graceling in an epic-journey kind of way, but a bit more light-hearted. :) Good stuff.

I found this to be a fairly blunt and formulaic fantasy novel, with just average writing and character development.
