The second chronological book in the "First Heaven" series. It follows Juno and Henry a married couple.They had a quickie wedding. Juno and Henry attempt an informal honeymoon before their formal nuptial honeymoon and formal wedding. Juno's adopted mother wanted a formal wedding for her daughter. Henry and Juno are following the law of impracticality, which both follow faithfully; unfortunately, it always gets Henry in trouble. They decide to take a side trip first to second heaven, and it turns out to be a bad idea.Their ship is thrown out into the path of a planet, and they don't have time to evade it. They crash land on a planet that is the armpit of the universe. It is a mining town full of unscrupulous miners and female androids with black market pleasure chips. This is not the bad part. There is a native intelligent species who want their land free of sinners-- the human miners.
