This was a fun read I laughed my way through the whole thing. Yes it is full of the f and s words so it's a book probably more for adults. I definitely felt the love between father and son, one of the best memoirs I've ever read!

After loving the random tweets from Justin Halpern I was ecstatic to read his debut full-length novel. Sh*t My Dad Says was absolutely hilarious and had me laughing profusely. Clearly, I was on board for anything else this man came out with.Unfortunately it was a pretty huge disappointment as far as...

3.5 starsThis definitely made me laugh, but I didn't like his stories about the girls as much as I loved his father's stories. Dad just steals the show every time!! Still, I enjoyed the personal stuff Justin Halpern divulges in this audio book. I wish he'd read it himself though. The narrator made a...

In Sh*t My Dad Says, Justin Halpern shares his experiences growing up with his father, someone who has very strong opinions about everything and is not afraid to share them. I Suck at Girls is Mr. Halpern's follow-up memoir that makes the case for his declaration that he does indeed suck at girls, w...

His dad sounds like a person I could really get along with.

I loved this book. It was a quick and funny read.Justin says his dad is funny and he is. I also think Justin doesn't give himself enough credit on how hysterical he is as well. This book is a coming of age story of a boy when it comes to girls. There are a few people in the book I'd love to lunch wit...

Well, that was something I don't read everyday. I don't think I've ever read a book that had the ability to make me laugh out loud on one page and cringe on the next. When I first picked up Sh*t My Dad Says, I had no idea it originated from Halpern's twitter page. Hindsight being 20/20 and all, I ca...

Not a lot to say. It was funny. Quick and easy read, better than Tucker Max; not really out to just offend/entertain. I was expecting his dad to be a low class jerk, but he really is a smart guy who can be touching at times (and yes, I thought this even before he told me so in the last chapter) I...

Hilarious. Laugh out loud funny. Highly recommend for anyone who is becoming a father or who has had a father. Deep fried gold. Warning: do not read on public transport. You will laugh hysterically and people will look at you funny. I speak from experience.

My husband and I read this book together. Well I read it aloud and he listened while driving. I must say this was and will most likely remain a favorite of mine. There is a lot of crude language but that I feel as to the Real Life tribute that Halpern has graced us with. His father is wise and witty...
