What a wild ride these books are. Somehow it all works but I'm totally surprised at how much gets thrown into Cassie's already convoluted life and love life. The wibbly wobbly time-y wimey bits -- still not a huge fan but not too overdone in this series entry.
"Wolfsbane and Mistletoe" is short story collection from well-known authors who have been asked to write stories with two elements to them: Werewolves and Christmas, an unusual combination that is meant to provoke some even more unusual tales. This is a re-read for me, to get me into the Christmas...
I love Karen Chance’s books. LOVE THEM! So, this review is totally biassed from the get go. I’m firmly on Team Pritkin but I really enjoyed this insight into Mircea’s character. It’s a lot easier to understand his actions later from reading about his formative years as a baby vampire. He struggled a...

Not star rating this one. I felt completley different about the first and second halves. First half -- loved it. Right mix of interesting characters, action, emotion, worldbuilding, story, etc. Exactly the type of urban fiction I was in the mood to read. Second half -- endless battle, battle,...
Rating: 4.5 StarsUsually I rate anything related to Cassie Palmer 5 stars, but I have to admit to having a couple of issues with this book. [spoiler] To begin with, whats up with all the crazy sex scene's? In general I don't mind them, but this was insane. Did Chance all of a sudden think sex wa...
It's been two years since the publication of Tempt the Stars, in which we saw Cassandra Palmer, Pythia and chief seer of the supernatural world, once again lose the war mage Pritkin, after working so hard to get him back. This time, Cassie has to travel further back in time than she ever has before...
im not going to write a full review. I am just going to rant about a few things real quick. First off uhhh can I just want to point out that the way she lost her virginity was a HUGE freaking let down. They made it out to be a big deal and it was over and down with and then it was like ok thanks ...
IIIII don't know. I liked parts of the book and then I didn't at the same time. I have heard that a lot of people have problems with Cassie.. and I didn't. I actually kinda liked her for the most part. The men were fine. Nothing spectacular and there wasn't really one singular love interest. The...
