I can see why some have said "Lonely Souls" is like an adult Harry Potter. And as a Harry Potter fan, that is a compliment. I loved this book and can't wait to read "Altered Souls". Triss and Logan are great characters. They are far from normal and truly unique.

Lonely Souls first attracted me by its gorgeous cover, even moreso by its mention of witches. I love witches and all their potential. I love spells, magic, and how books on the subject can be fun, fierce, and original. Even though I wish there would have been more "witchiness", Lonely Souls has an i...

So I totally admit that the original reason I wanted to read this book was because of the cover. I mean look at it!! This book is much more than a pretty cover though. After just finished reading a wonderful contemporary novel…I was happy to be back in the supernatural realms. There is something about fantasy that puts a smile on my face no matter the elements that are hiding in the story. Awakening to me was a history lesson of sorts giving us useful information ...
